How soon can I color my hair blonde when I have a semi permanent black hair color?

My original hair color is a light ash brown. I had it dyed about a month ago, black. We used a semi permanent hair dye. Now I want to go back to a light ash blonde like my hair was in high school. How long should I wait? Do I need to grow it all out first?

2. That's exactly what had happend to me. Im going to tell you right now black is a Biitch to get out ! They will have to strip your hair and then dye it back. You can do it now if you want, but no matter what your going to have some damage to your hair. Good Luck !
3. you can do it now but get it done professionally.. Black is the hardest color to get out semi-permanent or not.. it has to be bleached out, you're not going to be able to just use an ash blond kit
