What brand of professional hair color is best for curly dark hair?

I have thin, curly locks, with lots of body, similar to Shakira’s curls. Everytime I color my hair professionally it doesn’t last, even though I use color care products. Many have told me the best color brand is Wella. Currently my hair is a medium blond auburn, and wish to color it a chocolate brown. Any suggestions on which brand I should ask for at the hair dresser? Grazie Mille!
